My strength, physical capabilities and overall health have always been the highest of my priorities. Being the proud son of a pioneering Chiropractor, I was exposed to the profession and its natural healing philosophies as a very young person. Dr. Ryan Alter is a shining example of the next generation of Chiropractors.  His enthusiasm for his craft is unbridled.  His drive to continually “fine tune” his practice through learning better techniques and innovation is both enviable and refreshing. He has been instrumental in improving my health and well being.  I am very grateful to have Dr. Alter as my Chiropractor.  He follows in the formidable footsteps of another great Chiropractic physician, my Dad. By the way, my Dad and Mom are both patients of Dr. Alter as well.

Review: My medical problems began approximately eight years ago.  ...The room was spinning and the slightest movement caused nausea and vomiting.  I couldn’t walk steady and had to hug the walls just to make it to the bathroom. ...primary care physician who prescribed valium and bed rest.  ....I was told to keep a journal of the foods I ate, my daily activity and so forth. ...I was referred to an ENT who diagnosed me with Benign Positional Vertigo.  ...was told to reduce my stress and watch my daily sodium intake, however, they could not be sure if these were contributing factors.  ...I was instructed to do head and neck exercises were during an episode and it only seemed to make the symptoms worse. ...I sought a second opinion with an ENT at the University of Miami Medical Center.  The diagnosis was confirmed.  I suffered minimal hearing loss and that seemed to be their main concern.  ...suggested that I seek ...an allergist in an attempt to provide some relief.....I had that consultation, was told I had numerous environmental allergies and have been taking allergy shots since.  . A few years ago my mother in law saw a  news report for a chiropractor in Delray who could possibly help her.  She had a consultation with Dr. Alter and he has helped her a great deal.  .. It has been six months now since Dr. Alter first started treating me.  ... I can easily detect when I’m about to have an episode and get an adjustment immediately.  The episodes are less severe and within hours  I am symptom free!  I no longer suffer with nausea and vomiting.  I do not  have to resort to bed rest.  Better still, I am no longer dependent on  Valium   ....I am very grateful to Dr. Alter.  ..

Review: I had suffered with back pain for months due to a series of injuries. After numerous treatment modalities, none of which provided any relief, I found Dr. Alter. .....As a dentist who is highly trained in the diagnosis and treatment of occlusal imbalances the philosophy of Dr. Ryan’s treatment was sound. My first appointment provided me with noticeable relief right away. After three appointments I considered myself pain free for the first time in months. It has now been only a few short weeks of treatment and I have been able to resume many normal activities that I was unable to do due to the level of pain I suffered from.  My 5-year-old daughter is once again happy to have me play with her at the park, and I am writing this following a day of skiing in Colorado that I thought I would have to cancel. I am very grateful to Dr. Ryan Alter for his expertise in this technique that has unequivocally helped me with my back pain.

chiropractor Delray Beach ReviewsI am 42 years old.  I have had headaches since childhood…I have dealt with my migraines as they have gotten worse through the year.  I have had MRI’s, CT scans, and even seen a neurologist, and my headaches were still there.  I had one every day .....I had one treatment with him (which didn’t even hurt) and I was pain free.  It’s now one month into treatment and I have only had one minor headache!!! I didn’t even have to take any pills and it went away.  THANKS DR. ALTER YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER….I have never felt this good before.  No more pills for me.

Review: chiropractor Delray Beach ReviewsI am, by nature, an active person who enjoys the outdoors – golf, tennis, jogging, traveling and more.......The fall resulted in severe back pain that made taking even a single step extremely painful. An orthopedic doctor suggested therapy.....three months..... very little improvement. I tried a variety of chiropractors ...relief lasted only until I drove home, or at best, a couple of hours if I did nothing to aggravate my back. .......inactivity caused me to put on weight that I didn’t need. In desperation, I tried a Spine specialist. He diagnosed it as Spinal Stenosis and recommended surgery.....A second opinion...A third orthopedic doctor’s x-ray indicated arthritis – “can’t do anything for that. You’ll just have to live with it. Take a pain killer when it gets too bad.”.....Then comes Dr. Alter .....After the third week I walked out of his office about 11 a.m. and realized that there was almost no pain – a little stiffness, but no real pain. But will it last? I was fairly comfortable – something I had forgotten all those years – through the rest of the day. ... Now, after six months, I have no back pain! Morning ‘till night I walk erect and sure-footed with no discomfort. I can climb stairs, walk on cobble stoned streets and do hills with ease. At age 85, I move as I did when I was younger. I will continue to get “adjusted” on a regular basis to ensure the current level of joy is maintained. Thank you, Dr. Alter.

  This is a Big Thank You for taking away my migraine headaches!   I have been suffering with migraines since 1986.  ....... car accident ..... whiplash..... the migraines started. I have been to many neurologists, internists, and chiropractics-   ....droopy eyelid and my mouth would drop. Treatments ....included prophylaxis  ....medications....many tests ....treatments, physical therapy, manipulation under anesthesia, and have stayed away from certain “trigger foods” to prevent the headaches.... Wine, missing a meal, a plane ride!  ....still get migraines.....7 a month!.......holistic doctor ....recommendation was to see a Doctor who specialized in atlas orthogonal adjustments. – That was  THE  Dr Alter- I live in Fort Lauderdale and Dr Alter appeared to be the only one in all of South Florida who specialized in using the orthogonal percussion instrument.....I have not had a migraine  for over 7 months .  That is the longest I have gone without a headache since they started in 1986.    It is unbelievable!  Thank you, Thank you!  The office is such a warm, friendly and positive environment - I will continue to maintain my visits to assure my migraines do not come back!

Review: chiropractor Delray Beach ReviewsI was in a severe car accident in March of 2006. Since that time I have been treated by two chiropractors, two orthopedics and countless physical therapists. I have also gone through multiple epidural injections that did not help. I still continue to have pain running down the back of my left leg. I can not stand for any length of time without pain and the need to sit for relief. I could not walk for more than fifteen minutes.   I started with Dr. Alter on Jan. 11, 2008. I am no longer in intense pain. I can walk for forty five minutes. I am almost pain free and walk straight for the first time in almost two years. His treatment is absolutely painless and has been as successful as I could hope for. Dr. Alter and his staff are great. Dr. Alter spends the necessary time with each patient explaining his methods and the expected results. I have had several MRI’s and visited more than one Neurologist only to be put on more medication that never really worked anyway. I just figured I would have to live with the headaches. I figured I had nothing to lose. I am so glad I made that phone call! I saw Dr. Alter for the first time about 2 months ago and have not had a migraine since. Before that I was getting them several times a week. Thank you Dr. Alter, and my family thanks you too. I no longer have to spend 3-4 days a week in bed with a migraine.

Review: chiropractor Delray Beach ReviewsI’m 25, and have been visiting Dr. Alter over a year now for treatment of my neck pain. I noticed the pain after a car accident when I was 18, and didn’t think much of it. I kept-up with my boyhood hobbies of boxing, breakdancing, and skateboarding, all of which were not great activities for the neck. The pain got so severe that I had to seek-out therapy. So far, I’ve been through electrotherapists, massage, old-school chiropractors (the ones that break your neck and say it helps),  yoga, and some more modern chiropractors that use an activator method. Finally I found Dr. Alter’s Atlas orthogonal treatment, and  within a few visits my pain was gone, as if I never had it at all. The treatment comes with some skepticism, but it’s no different than some of the more modern medical treatments like laser therapy, or MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging). Thank you so much Dr. Alter for everything you’ve done.
